Team Tryouts for Saville's 2009-2010 start November 30th.

Tryouts for the girls team will be Monday, November 30th and Wednesday, December 2nd. Tryouts for the boys team will be Tuesday, December 1st and Thursday, December 3rd.

In order to tryout, you must have a completed athletic physical packet on file with Coach Zeigenbein before November 30th.

Open Gym/intramural
Basketball

The 2009-2010 Saville Middle School Basketball program begins September 14th in the Saville Middle School Gym with our annual Open gym/intramural program. The Open Gym portion of the program allows basketball players to have fun and simply "play ball". Mondays and Wednesdays will be Open Gym for Girls, while Tuesdays and Thursdays will be Open Gym for boys. We will be playing basketball from 2:30 to 3:20 during the open gym opportunities. The Saville Coaching Staff will be on hand to offer instruction and provide guidance. The Intramural component of the program begins in mid-October and provides basketball players a chance to learn the fundamentals and skills required to become a better basketball player.

Additional Information:

Basketball attire must be worn to participate in Open Gym/Intramurals (shorts, t-shirts, gym shoes)

A Late Bus will be provided for students in need of transportation

An athletic physical packet is not required to participate in Open Gym/Intramurals (Note: Players wishing to tryout for the team in December must have a physical packet on file before tryouts)

Students showing unsportsmanlike behavior during Open Gym/Intramurals or during the regular school day will not be allowed to participate in any basketball-related events, including tryouts!
